SUMMARY:  The current General Manager’s contract expires on June 30, 2004.  Until a new General Manager has taken over the position, the District must appoint an Acting General Manager and Acting Secretary to conduct the business of the District. 

 

RECOMMENDATION:  Appoint Rick Dickhaut, Administrative Services Manager/Chief Financial Officer, to the position of Acting General Manager and Acting Secretary until such time as a new General Manager is employed by the District.  The Administrative Committee considered this item on June 7, 2004 and voted 2 to 0 to recommended approval.
